Adam's Assignment 

Film Industry

There are a lot of people who are actually involved and there is

n't actually an accurate number of how many people there is. The film industry actually has over 79 jobs that you can do in the film industry which means that for one job there will be thousands involved so it is a very popular and busy industry.  I would say that for the structure it could be set out many different ways like on TV you have Sky which actually have which have a channel where different movies are shown on TV, they put a selection of movies on the certain channel at different times so that you can watch them if you really want to. It doesn't only just happen on sky there is a lot of other channels that play movies too.

Another one could be Film 4 they do the exact same thing as what Sky does they have a channel that also has a choice of movies that you can watch. You dont have to use your TV to watch movies though, you can buy DVDs themselves and watch them on a DVD player which is actually an advertising one and producing because the movie cover on that is what makes you want to watch it and you buy it. There's websites where you can watch movies on which is good. It's really up to you how you watch them and how ever you find it easier to watch them. 

TV industry - 

Well for the TV industry again there is a lot of people that are involved. The TV Industry is actually a lot different to the Film Industry as for a film they really only have to keep you entertained for 90 minutes but for the television they have to keep you glued for your entire life. Really a TV pilot is giving us a list of 8 things, then encouraging us to tune in a watch what ever it is for the rest of time. But that's looking at the whole run of the show as a single story. Within a scope of an individual episode, pilot or not they still have to run a circle which is:

• I,
• Notice a small problem,
• and make a major decision.
• This changes things 
• to some satisfaction,
•  but there are consequences that must be undone 
• and I must admit the futility of change

Maybe the reason why they do this is because they may find it easier to do, also because again they do have to keep the audience appealed. Obviously ever different media industry have a different way how they structure everything, this is how they do it.

Radio Industry -  

The radio industry is everywhere! You can listen to the radio through your phones, tv, computer anything. I'd say that it's probably is quiet popular but probably not one of the most popular ones that I have written about. I would say that not a lot of people would actually have to be involved in it as you only have to talk and play music really depending on the radio channel you are working for. There's different things that you have to do working for the radio industry for example when you have different radio channels like Capital and Radio 1 well the difference is that Capital is a radio channel where they have music playing as well as information and  Radio 1 is just basically the news. On Capital the company would have to pay the artist some money to put their song on live and I guess that they would also have to call the celebrity that they want on the radio that day as they can and have people I their radio. But with Radio 1 you would probably need to find the information that you need and tell people live on the radio. There for it would be a hard job and there would also have to be a lot of work into it as the radio is on every single day anyone can listen to it! 


If you wanted to listen to the radio then why not go an listen to it on your TV? Literally anyone because you can!. Why not listen to your radio on your phone? Because you also can!. You can listen to the radio anywhere and that's what is so good about it. It's live and free to anyone to listen to and !most of all you can listen to music on them or even listen to the today's news instead of reading it. It is a clever thing that they do.  



Publishing Industry -  

Well to start off with publishing is an extremely big industry as mostly everything is advertised after the publishing process. The things that can be made ready to advertise could be;

• Magazines.
• Books.
• TV Shows.
• Film Posters.
• Newspapers.
• Articles

And many more of course. There are a lot of ways that things can be published before advertising and that is for my first example of a movie if a movie doesn't have a poster for it then how can people have an image of what that movie is going to be about.. Things like Amazon, Play.com and WHSmith will advertise books by maybe having a little video advising people to buy certain books and why they should get that book etc. They would probably sell newspapers and magazines too. As you can see the amount of things I have already said loads of people are working on trying to make whatever object appeal to the audience and make them want to buy them. Well for websites they could be seen advertised on Facebook or even Twitter and Instagram, again its websites so loads of people would be involved for this too as it is most probably one of the biggest industry's that would need a lot of people to take part and get involved in. For things like mobile phones, computers, tvs and Radio this could be advertised also online, maybe at the beginning of a YouTube video or even when you're on Google and its just advertised its self. To be honest there's many different ways that different thing are advertised and so may people that do this day in and day out.

Advertising Industry -  

Well for the advertising there would be many different ways that it can be used and is probably the biggest because you can search anything on it and you will be able to find it straight away. Also basically it is where everything is also advertised for example you can go onto google and go on YouTube to watch maybe a trailer that you want to watch, a music video that you want to watch, or even a new trailer to a TV programme! you will find literally anything on the internet. Another thing what you could use is google which is obviously the first thing that would come up on the internet to actually find out about anything you need to know. There is other things that people use on the internet where theres load off advertising videos on them like;

• Facebook.
• Twitter.
• Instagram.
• Snapchat.

 I would say that loads of people are actually involved in advertising on the internet. Things are also advertised in magazines that are also made by people. In stuff like magazines there would obviously only be images or whatever they are actually advertising. Again you can read magazines online so you can use the internet to find out anything! The internet is probably used by so many people in a day that's how popular it really is. Well I have to say I love the internet and I find out anything I need to know on the internet! It truly is an amazing thing to actually use. 

Obviously for advertising there are other things than just the internet for example movie posters are made that can be stuck outside the cinemas on the wall, that's used to advertise that certain movie. You get shops that you go to and you can find stuff like books, posters, Ipads, IPhone, DVDs, TV shows anything at all! This is also advertising. It can be used for anything really and that's why it's such a big thing.

For an example of what can be advertised these are the ones that I thought of and how...

• Make Up.
• Magazines.
• Books.
• TV Shows.
• Films.
• Phones.
• Newspapers.
• Radio.
• Facebook websites.
• Gmail.
• TVs.
• Computers.

And many more of course. Photography

Well firstly photography is where photos are took by different people of many different things. You can be a different type of photographer too there is things like; taking photos of peoples weddings, taking photos of people that have injuries, taking photos of peoples work, the environment that your in and also many more different things. Photography is actually important when it comes to the film industry or TV industry because when it comes to promoting something for example a new film that is coming out you'd have a poster which is a photo that is took by someone meaning that is the photography used right there.

Using photography I think that it makes things look a lot better like for a movie poster if you didn't have a photo of something to do with that movie then how are you going to make it look good because really no one want to see a poster full of texts with peoples names on it! A good image for that poster is the big bit that probably anyone actually looks at first. It's what actually makes it look good and normally photos are mostly things that actually advertise stuff unless it's something to do with a trailer that would be a 2-3 minute short clip.

Im guessing that there is also a lot of people that are involved in this type of stuff, as there is quiet a few jobs that are offered to people including big companies! For an example of Fuji Film who work on photography. It isn't just used to create movie posters they can be took for many other reasons or just because people like to take photos. Photography can be shown on the internet on websites such as Facebook, Instagram, BBC, Newspapers Online and you could even make your own website and post them on there. Photography is big, its fun and its definitely something that most people would probably want to be involved in because obviously for a professional point of view it would have to be perfect and look good for what ever you are promoting.

Animation

Animation is fun! It's probably another thing that is so popular because there is so much stuff that are involved in animation. It can be made many different ways. Animation can be made; 

• On A Computer.
• By Hand (Clay) 
• People 
• Cut Out (Photos from book, magazines, newspapers etc) 

There is loads more but I won't go too much into detail as there is loads! For an example of this I thought I would choose "Walt Disney Animation Studios". Well I thought that I would do this because I think that animation is one of the most popular entertainment that people watch and how its shown a lot on TV and I'm movies. I have watched a lot of movies that are to do with animation. I must admit that it is made in a really long process but the outcome of it is unbelievable. The amount of people that actually watch animation is fantastic. 

Animation is shown on TV programme's, films and also on computers. Even games too. I reckon that a lot of people would be involved in this with how long it takes to actually create it. I love animation and even I would!. There are a lot of children movies that are made for animation for example new movies that have came out in 2015 'Big Hero 6, Frozen, Home' and many more. There's also not just Walt Disney that make animation movies and stuff, there are a lot more to do with animation as there is companies around the word involved with this. 

It is also advertised the same as what other movies are, they create movie posters, they create trailers. So it isn't that much different that its animation and not a normal movie. It could take years or over to make them especially if it's something like Wallace and Gromit as the characters are made from clay and you'd have to think of how exactly you would want to create them. The over all outcome is great though. 

Gaming 

Gaming is a really popular thing too, it is advertised a lot on TV and you get a lot of shops around that advertise a lot of games. Loads of new games have actually came out in 2015 and this year. New ones that people immediately want to buy because gaming is getting better and better as there is new consoles that are out which are also advertised on TV too. For gaming it can be used on; 

• Computers.
• Xbox One.
• PS4.
• Xbox 360.
• Wii.
• Nintendo's.
• PS Vita

And many more. You see games everywhere for example just going out to town you'd see game shops that have them on display which is advertising that certain game. You'd see adverts maybe before you are about to watch a YouTube clip. You'd see advertisements on the TV between brakes. You could see them on any website that you go on and most of all what ever console that you have obviously advertises them the most. 

With how many people who are involved I would say a lot because of the process and how popular gaming actually is. It's goes through a long but worth it process to make a game and also loads of people are wanting to get involved in it. I would say that gaming and Internet has changed everything how people think and how people do things! The generation is changing and that's because of all the technology that we now have to create amazing things for people to go on and watch. It is an amazing thing and its very clever how much things have changed and how they are created.
